We had a fantastic show on Saturday and really enjoyed sharing a stage and getting to hear some new music by Gentleman Loser with a special appearance by The Mad City Sister Nuns along with some really well done NIN covers by incektShotglass Sally joined us with grinding for four of our songs and Mizz Lillzz did a couple of fabulous sword belly dance routines on the back stage during the intervals between bands. Also there were absolutely delicious KUPCAKES by Kate!

There was a really good crowd with lots of energy and friends we haven’t seen in many years. We showcased three of our new songs that will be on our new album “Voyager” coming out Summer 2013, which were a smashing success! We also sold a few CD’s, made some new friends, and only came away with a few minor cuts n bruises.

Our next live show will be with Thought Thieves in Minneapolis, MN at Ground Zero with Bondage A Go Go immediately following!

Inferno NightclubOur very own DJ Psych0tron  along with DJ Siberia  rocked the  Inferno Nighclub for REVERB this past Saturday! Many of us were out with our dancing shoes and attire on, excited for a fun night of great music. We were were not disappointed! The music was on fire and the floor was full the entire night. Some of us even hurt ourselves dancing for hours on end.

There were a lot of people in attendance who kept the club hopping until after bar time! If you’re looking for a place that is beautifully and artistically decorated, with fabulous dance music, friendly patrons, and hot bartenders, then the Inferno Nightclub is the place for you.

Sensuous Enemy will be playing at Inferno Nightclub on Saturday, April  27th,  with our Milwaukee friends Incekt and am.psyche, with more fun things to see and hear that we’ll reveal in a couple of weeks.

Our very own Bob will be presenting the final REVERB event of 2012. We’re giving you folks a special treat. CHRONOTRIGGER was one of the most popular Saturday formats from the 2011 Inferno calender, and for one evening we’re bringing it back by popular demand.

For the uninitiated, here’s how it works:

CHRONOTRIGGER is a chronological restrospective of the very best in hard club music. We will journey through 20 years of anthems and club favorites, moving forward in time as the night progresses. Each hour features a different DJ pair playing tracks only from a specific time block, becoming more current with each hour until we arrive at today’s offerings at the end of the night.

Your entertainers for the evening will be DJs Whiterabbit, Siberia, Mike Carlson, Mindphaser, and psych0tron. The DJ/time slot schedules follow:

1993-1996 – Siberia vs. psych0tron
1997-2000 – Mindphaser vs. Mike Carlson
2001-2004 – Whiterabbit vs. Siberia
2005-2008 – Mindphaser vs. Whiterabbit
2009-2012 – psych0tron vs. Mike Carlson

We hope to see you there! REVERB has been a blast for all of 2012, and we’re going to end it with a bang at this event! Be sure to check out the Inferno anniversary party happening in December, and stay tuned for REVERB details for 2013.

Sensuous Enemy Loki and Thor

Cyber Perversion Loki and Thor

Thank you to all of our darklings who made it to the 3rd annual Cyber Perversion show at Club Inferno in Madison, Wisconsin! We had a lot of fun  with our Avengers costumes and we really enjoyed playing with our co-villains Cynergy 67 (Upper WI), V is for Villains (Chicago, IL), and AS/OF (Minneapolis,MN), along with DJ EfN (Green Bay, WI), and our very own DJ Psych0tron (Madison, WI).  Thanks to Apollo of  the Inferno for  a great venue space and to Rooster for running sound for all of us.

We were able to showcase two of our new songs “Freedom from Religion” and “Sirens of the Sea”, we just completed this past September. Both songs went over really well and we received a few kudos for them.  “Freedom from Religion” is a word speak with a melodic chorus. Since we have never done a song like this  before, the style of writing and performance really shocked some some people. “Sirens of the Sea” is definitely going to be a dance floor favorite as many started bouncing as soon as it began. All in all, it was a really fun fest and we look forward to doing it again next year!

Over the next few months, we’ll be working hard to write and record music for our next CD “Voyager”. We’re excited to get something new into your hands by Summer of 2013!

Cynergy 67, Sensuous Enemy, The Jimmy Coffin (Sideshow) InfusionWe have a great show for you on Wednesday, July 11th at The Frequency, 121 W. Main St. downtown Madison!

The Jimmy Coffin (Sideshow) Infusion “I am the one and only Jimmy Coffin. I am a sideshow freak with tricks such as: Fire breathing, fire walking, fire eating, fire juggeling, glass walking, glass eating, bed of nails, human cannonball, Human blockhead, human bulliten board, Human dartboard, Geek, animal traps, straight jacket escape, eye hooks, finger smash, goldfish regurgitation, kiss of death along with some other misc. tricks, a true 10 in 1 one man sideshow, one of the last of a dying breed.”

We want to give Grant Griffiths a shout out for taking time out of his busy schedule to do our 2012 Promo Shoot. Grant took us out to a sand/rock quarry in Sun Prairie Wisconsin for part of the shoot.  We couldn’t have asked for better weather conditions in March in Wisconsin!

It was an unbelievably warm day with a record high of 80 degrees and strong southern warm winds!

We were able to use the wind to our advantage, as you can see from all of the wind blown hair shots. We’re happy with the results and now have some great shots to choose from. The rest of the album is uploaded to our Facebook page.

Let us know what you think of the shoot and if you’re so inclined to: info AT sensuousenemy DOT com.

Hot new members recently added to Sensuous Enemy!

DJ :EYG: and DJ Psych0tron

Katja Lunde, formerly of The Gothsicles, will be doing live keyboards for us beginning in November.  Ms. Lunde is formerly a native from Madison, Wisconsin and is currently living and working in Chicago, Illinois.  She is excited to be a part of Sensuous Enemy and brings a lot of excitement and experience with her from her time spent touring and performing with The Gothsicles .
Also joining us again, one of our former members Bob Hensley aka DJ Psych0tron, is coming back to do keyboards and synths.  Bob is an amazing percussionist and pianist with an uncanny knack of putting his own special flare to everything he does.  We are excited to have these incredibly intelligent, talented and gifted people join us and become a part of what we love to do most…write and perform electronic/industrial music!
Our first show all together will be on 11.11.11 at Club Inferno with Thought Thieves so come out on and help us celebrate with cheap drinks, great music and sexy people.  You won’t want to miss it!
